Social Media Marketing Assistant
Role
At Candid Dating, a new Catholic dating startup, I developed and launched the company’s first social media strategy from the ground up. This helped build an initial base of engaged followers and generate early brand momentum. I worked directly with the CEO to grow the brand’s online presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, helping to manage both paid and organic campaigns. Some of my work included writing captions, designing cohesive visuals, and contributing to newsletter content. As TikTok lead, I oversaw content creation and helped shape the platform’s tone and storytelling style. I conducted competitor research, planned editorial and content calendars, engaged with the online community, and tracked performance analytics to guide future strategy. In addition, I collaborated with the Branding Manager during the company’s rebranding process to help create a more welcoming and consistent aesthetic.

Merchandise
I implemented a creative marketing approach by introducing engaging branded freebies for events and members. I designed merchandise for Candid Dating to promote the company and strengthen its presence at events, including the SEEK 2025 conference.


Rebranding
I played an active role in the rebranding phase of Candid Dating, collaborating closely with the Branding Manager to redefine the company’s visual identity and overall tone. Together, I helped develop a look and feel that made the brand more sophisticated, warm, and inviting, with a contemporary touch. The new design emphasized clean and minimalist layouts. Our imagery focused on genuine, uplifting interactions that reflect Catholic community life in a natural, approachable way. We chose modern typography to convey professionalism and warmth, paired with subtle Catholic elements. The refreshed color palette created a balanced, modern, and welcoming aesthetic.
